When I enter the password for our WiFi on my brand new 6s+ It tells me invalid password. I’ve tied restarting the modem and I had reset my phones network settings and still the same, invalid password. There are other WiFi electronics in the home and I have no problem connecting to the router with them.
Do you have other Apple devices like a iPad or another iPhone with ios 12 because if so the you can password share by leaving the iPhone that you want to connect to the wifi on the entire password page, and on the other device you share it.
One feature of routers is the ability to only connect to known devices. This is called MAC filtering or Access Control. If it is enabled then the Wi-Fi address of the device you are trying to connect must be listed in the settings for this feature.
What happens when you try to connect your device to a different Wifi Network? Does it work?
