What band works well when wearing both gold and silver jewelry. I currently have the silver/stainless watch.

That is really going to be a matter of personal taste. I wear the plain black sport band with everything.
I have several, I'm wearing the US Olympics band from 2016 today.

I didn't go, had a friend with a cousin in Rio. He even videoed the purchase on his iPhone.
