Regain access to my apple id when I have forgot the trusted number?

I have factory reset my iPhone to resell to a friend and when I tried to log back into my apple id the phone stated that there has already been 3 apple id's on this handset, so I tried log back into my old one and the phone is saying it has sent me a verification code to a trusted number, I no longer have access to this number and do not remember it can you help me please??
