No USB Type-C Signal with Dell U3419W

Hi guys,

I recently purchased a Dell U3419W to use it with my Macbook Pro 2017.

I'm trying to connect it using the usb c cable but it doesn't accept recognise any signal from the macbook. I tried to get Dell to help me out but their respond is to check it with Apple as they haven't validated or tested their system with Apple.

Just wondering if anyone has the same issues and if yes, did you manage to fix it?
