Query relating to iCloud storage payment renewal

Hi.

I had purchased 50GB extra iCloud storage using master card which has become inactive now. I am not able to add new payment method on my iPhone and I am also not able to remove the old card which was saved earlier.

There is no active subscription as of now. Kindly help me solve the problem

Try another card. For a card to have a chance of being accepted it needs to be registered to the same name and address (including format and spacing etc.) that you have on your iTunes account, and have been issued by a bank in the country where you are (and therefore the country which is on your iTunes account). 


Or what happens when you just try to remove it and not put a new card in its place ?
