I had purchased 50GB extra iCloud storage using master card which has become inactive now. I am not able to add new payment method on my iPhone and I am also not able to remove the old card which was saved earlier.
There is no active subscription as of now. Kindly help me solve the problem

You've downgraded your iCloud storage back to the free 5 gig ? What happens when you try to remove the card ?
Try adding the new card and removing the old one via https://appleid.apple.com/account/manage
Do you owe iTunes money for iCloud storage ?
And what was the actual text of the message you got when trying to add a new card ?
Try another card. For a card to have a chance of being accepted it needs to be registered to the same name and address (including format and spacing etc.) that you have on your iTunes account, and have been issued by a bank in the country where you are (and therefore the country which is on your iTunes account).
Or what happens when you just try to remove it and not put a new card in its place ?
I did not opt for downgrading. It got downgraded automatically to 5gb due to payment failure.
When I tried adding new card , it is showing error like this - new payment method declined because of active subscription.. but I checked for active subscriptions .. there is no such active ones.
