Is there no best alternative to retrieving forgotten restrictions passcode. I am out of the possible passcodes I usually use

Keeping your photos depends completely on where your photos are housed. If, for example, you use iCloud Photos, you will be able to retrieve them. If you only house them locally on the iPhone, they will be gone.

I just made up my mind to erase my iPhone and my photos shows updated to iCloud just now.
like a while ago it says uploading to iCloud. Now done.....

Simply turn on iCloud Photos and they'll appear ... once they've downloaded to your device.
