I received a gift of Apple I pad. It doesn’t have the receipt. It is still in original packaging, and also unopened Please advise, What will be the effective date of warranty from the date of Registration or from ist use. Thanks
It is from the date of purchase for free, one-year standard AppleCare warranty.
If it has been over 60 days, you can no longer purchase the extended, two-year AppleCare+ warranty plan that would have covered two incidents ( one per year ) of accidental/incidental damage by the users.
I believe it was the date of purchase.
