I have just updated to MacOS 10.14.6 - this version isn't in the tb3-enabler.py - can someone provide an update for the enabler or tell me how to do it (in very basic, layman's terms).
It's been working perfectly for months with my 2016 15" MacBook Pro until I upgraded.
Sorry - I've obviously not made myself clear here.
The existing tb3-enabler.py has several lines in the code, culminating in:
"17ab6da0bd11078a35c88a1380bc378e": ["10.14.5 (18F132)"]
This is obviously for MacOS 10.14.5 - I have now installed MacOS 10.14.6, so the tb3-enabler.py needs some extra code which is way outside my ability to figure out!
I did understand your original reply - unfortunately, downgrading from Mojave is a retrospect step in why opinion and also I suspect calling Dell support isn't an option. I conclude from this that the sole course of action left to me is to bin the TB16 dock and purchase another third party option.

For other who have this problem, I followed the instructions at https://github.com/rgov/Thunderbolt3Unblocker/releases.
That cured the problem.
I suggest you call Dell tech support. Or, you can try downgrading macOS. macOS Reversion- How to Downgrade from Mojave.
