We have a iPhone 8 Plus connected to our pc laptop. We’ve synced before. Now, for some reason, we’re getting a message saying, ”iTunes could not backup the iPhone because the backup session failed.” Any ideas?

I have been unable to back up my iPhone 8 plus since the associates and or so what called techs @ apple store in Tucson AZ lost my SIM!!! I get the same error message on my phone
Well I don’t have an 8+ I just have an eight and I cannot back it up I can use I amazing I can’t back up to the cloud I can’t back up to my Mac.
