Activation Lock

Ive bought a used iPhone X. I have updated and restored it. Upon trying to set it up, i selected language, and country. Now it says i have to sign in with the apple ID and password that the phone was setup with. I dont have this and have no way of getting it. Is there anyway around this? I have my own apple ID and password but it says the one the phone was set up with is needed.
