Odd new Apple TV icon

Lately when I play movies on my Apple TV when I go from paused with the scene preview displaying on the timeline below, the timeline and preview will disappear as it should and a little icon pops up center screen just above where the timeline would be. The icon depicts a larger outline rectangle with an arrow towards a smaller colored in rectangle in the lower right. What is this?
