While setting up Apple Pay I added 2 $25.00(50.00 total) dollars to Apple Pay. How do I return that amount (thereby clearing Apple Pay) to the original credit card used?

While setting up Apple Pay (at least trying to) I added 2 $25.00 amounts to Apple Pay (total of $50.00). How do I return that amount back to the original credit card used.

I admit to while trying to return the funds I screwed up my mini iPad and had to restore from a back up. Frustrated at my ineptness.

If the below matters.

this morning come to find out my card # was used in a fraudulent trans action in San Francisco. The only thing this card had been used for was this Apple Pay crap and an Amazon transaction to buy the Matrix DVDs. Sigh.
