iPhone 6 usage in Europe

I have an iPhone 6 model MG4C2J/A. We are about to go to Europe, and I have a US Straight Talk SIM which won't work over there, but I am wondering how I can get service abroad and use data and possibly make or receive calls to/from the USA?

If it is not locked to your carrier (or you have arranged to have it unlocked), you can probably purchase a SIM card in Europe. We bought one last year for about $10 for 30 days with limited talk and data and roaming in most of Europe. We never tried it for the USA but would probably have had to pay extra.

Alternatively, see if your domestic carrier offers an international supplement. This may cost more though than getting a SIM card in Europe.

Sometimes answering this kind of question is easier when having details on the country(ies) to which you are traveling.
