Iphone 8 exchange with Iphone XS

my iPhone 8 has a broken screen and it's out of warranty too, can I still exchange it with XS from apple store, I don't have an apple store in my country of residence but I will travel to Paris in a few weeks and I would like to know if I can exchange it knowing that I brought it from the US, also if exchange is possible, what is the value of my phone with a broken screen.
