Over night, my iPad Air 2 screen has changed to a hologram type of display. How do I get back to the normal display?
It looks like it’s stuck on invert. There’s a smart invert or classic invert, try toggling both of those on and off,
then Restart your iOS device.

try this:
Settings > General > Accessibility > Display Accommodations > if invert colors is on, turn it off.
If if that isn’t it, it’s time for a visit to you Apple Store Genius Bar for evaluation.
Did you Restart your iOS device Until the Apple logo appeared? It’s not the same as just turning it off
Hard to tell what a hologram display means. Please post a picture so we can see what you're seeing.
Then there's really nothing you can really do here. You'll need to either go to an Apple Store Genius Bar for evaluation and options.
Thanks for the suggestion. I tried it, but invert colours was off. Turn it on and off again, but still no change.
Tried toggling both inverts off and on, then turned iPad off for 1 minute. Problem is still there.
