I am trying to remove a name from a group text. When I swipe left, it takes me to the persons contact info. It does not give me option to remove. What am I doing wrong or what do I do next?

At the bottom of each comment, there are two buttons. Reply and Helpful. I would suggest ‘Unhelpful’ for comments such as this.

sorry still will not stop with large groups no wonder my phone is so slow may have to bring it back to factory settings getting sick of it
How do I delete a group message that I am the author of? There is at least 1 Android user in the group. TY
Well my phone stop doing that after last update. When was the last time you updated your phone I have a iPhone 8/ iOS 13.4.1
I am able to remove another apple user from a group message without a problem. The issue I am having trouble with and posted about twice now is actually deleting old group messages from my message search history. If I begin typing a contact name, every single group message they have ever been a part of shows up in the list. Before the 13 update these group could be deleted completely. Now they accumulate....
You're talking about something different. You appear to be talking about the suggestions you get when you start to type in a name. This question is about deleting a participant from a group conversation so that they don't continue to get messages.

No it does not matter what is being used I have friends that have iPhones and droids it does not matter still will not work never had a issue before this is a new problem and it’s not only me
