Verifying Update
My fiancé’s iPhone 7 has been stuck on “Verifying Update” for several hours. I can’t unlock or turn it off. I tried the “hard reset” method (home and power button), but it won’t even reset. What can I do?

A forced restart on model 7 must be performed by pressing and holding both Volume Down and Side buttons, until you see the Apple Logo.
