Split Screen in Final Cut Pro 10.4.6

Anyone know how to create a split screen effect in Final Cut Pro X? By split screen, I mean the ability to show clips at once in the timeline and in the final movie.

Tom, etal,

Ripple definitely had the best of the videos on split screens AND it was free: https://www.rippletraining.com/articles/free-video-editing-tutorials/2016/02/17/creating-split-screens-in-final-cut-pro-x/

Thanks to everyone for your help,

R

Starting with the top clip was helpful (thanks for that). Now, however, each clip has zoomed in on the middle 2/3rds (approx) of the half of what I'd sized for the split screen.

Since my problems have been many leading up to now, can you recommend a good video tutorial service (e.g., Larry Jordan or Lynda.com)? I'm at the point where I'm willing to pay a monthly sub.
