Split Screen in Final Cut Pro 10.4.6
Anyone know how to create a split screen effect in Final Cut Pro X? By split screen, I mean the ability to show clips at once in the timeline and in the final movie.

Starting with the top clip was helpful (thanks for that). Now, however, each clip has zoomed in on the middle 2/3rds (approx) of the half of what I'd sized for the split screen.
Since my problems have been many leading up to now, can you recommend a good video tutorial service (e.g., Larry Jordan or Lynda.com)? I'm at the point where I'm willing to pay a monthly sub.
Place a clip directly above another then resize and position as required.
Start off by making the top one smaller to see both clips.

Connect one clip above the other and use the Transform tool to resize and reposition the clips in the frame.
Start with Izzy video on YouTube and then look at Ripple Training.
