Add Apple Card to Mint

I’ve been using the card for about a month now, and am so frustrated that none of my transactions can be tracked in Mint. I use Mint to do my taxes, and so I’m going to have to retroactively record all of my Apple Card transactions manually into Mint. I also like using the Acorns app for round-ups for all my transactions, but I can’t link my Apple Card with Acorns so none of those transactions get recorded resulting in no round-ups. I love the Apple Card app interface and Daily Cash is cool, but that’s about it. I don’t see the point of being so limited by the credit card. I’m abandoning it for now until these common features are included.

NOT AS SECURE? Are you JOKING? It is the most secure credit card in the world. In what way to you think it isn't secure?

  • There's no number printed on the card for anyone to copy
  • There's no CVV code on the card to copy
  • No Expiration Date on the card to copy
  • No signature to forge
  • You can change the number instantly if you think it's been compromised, and without having to wait for a new card
  • The contactless feature requires your FaceID, TouchID or passcode every time it is used

I find it more convenient than any of my other cards. And my cash back has accumulated faster than any other card I have that offers cash back, and I have instant access to it without the hassle of jumping through hoops to get access to my accumulated bonuses.

I set a figure, $50 for primary and $1 for backup, and any time that there is a charge exceeding that figure, I get a text and an email message. The Apple Card does not do that.

The Apple card does better than that. You could turn on the feature that sends you a notification in real time of every time the card is used with the amount of the charge.

That's not "better." IF it's a txt message and an email message, it's the same.

Someone above mentioned Apple doesn't sell your transaction data, they "keep it safe". Apple isn't keeping your data safe, they're keeping it for themselves. If you think Apple doesn't use your data to market to you, then you've drank their kool-aid. This has been proven with most of their technologies where they give you lip service about security but allow their own apps to violate those privacy walls that 3rd party apps run into.

Thank you. Just did this. Well said. Always good to remind them not to undercut each other like streaming services, respecting different approaches to how people pay their bills. Love the apple card, but also love Acorns and Mint. Everybody, even Apple, needs friendly reminders to just spread the love! Can't wait for the prompt response and fix for the technical openness requested. All about respect and I think they do respect their customers - so imagine this is just something to look forward to! yay!

Apple knows the answers but just won’t share them with customers. I suspect they think Mint isn’t as secure as Apple and therefore will never allow it.

apple also is unable to say what or why people who were forced to have different username logins (email addresses) for icloud (because it was once mobileme) and Itunes. So when i use my Apple Card to pay for Apple purchases i make through itunes (so like every subscription), which uses a different email than my card or icloud, i have to pay with the numbers on titanium card. Problem? Purchases using Apply Pay/Card electronically get you 5% cash back. Using the titanium card? 1%. At this point after speaking with many at Apple, they never encountered the question, and can’t give me an answer (i do respect their honesty), i wont know if the reason i got the card (to pay for my apple subscriptions and get 5% back) is going to work. Im mad bcuz its involves a hard credit inquiry and lowers your credit score.i was approved, but if i dont want the card, i will get penalized by the credit agencies for closing an account and reducing my available credit.like Apple cant promise to do a workaround to rescind the card and talk to the credit agencies. As if those agencies can be trusted anyway. Every credit report has different info. Americans you are losing opportunity cuz these credit scorers are careless with your info DESPITE the fact that places like Apple Bank (Goldman Sachs, actually...just a card with apples name on it) use those same agencies to determine your credit worthiness.

It's absurd that Apple would restrict access to my own personal data to use with my own applications. I just don't see the point. It's an easy thing to allow Mint and other financial apps to access my own data. I have other cards that give me 2% cash back, no need to use apple card as long as it keeps me from managing my own data anyway that I want.

Just adding my name to the list of frustrated Apple Card users. I will also be sending feedback. Not only do I use Mint, but I use other investment and financial management software for “wealth building” purposes. Not only is 1% cash back less than some of my other cards, but if I can’t track my purchases in close to real time, nor have my true net worth be calculated/estimated on the fly, this creates an issue for me.

The idea is to do less work, not more. Let’s get it together, Apple.

Thank you for your answer, but exporting to a spreadsheet is not a solution, it's a workaround from apple and a pretty lame one btw. Apple should stop hijacking my data, it's mine and I should be able to do whatever I want with my data, and what I want is to integrate with my other apps without having to manually download and import a spreadsheet. I love apple design, but the data hijacking is absurd. I have't used the apple card and won't use until I'm allowed to do what I want with my data. I'm using one of the many other cards I have. Capitalism saves :)
