Add Apple Card to Mint

I’ve been using the card for about a month now, and am so frustrated that none of my transactions can be tracked in Mint. I use Mint to do my taxes, and so I’m going to have to retroactively record all of my Apple Card transactions manually into Mint. I also like using the Acorns app for round-ups for all my transactions, but I can’t link my Apple Card with Acorns so none of those transactions get recorded resulting in no round-ups. I love the Apple Card app interface and Daily Cash is cool, but that’s about it. I don’t see the point of being so limited by the credit card. I’m abandoning it for now until these common features are included.

Even though Apple Card does not share personal financial data, you CAN use it for micro-investing. I’m using it with Acorns, not Mint; the process would be similar for both. I can’t use the “Round-Up” feature of Acorns (because Apple doesn’t share purchase info with third-parties/apps) but I can invest my Apple Cash, which for me and my spending will likely end up being more than round-ups in any given month.

To use Apple Cash ...

1) Send your Apple Cash to your bank account.

2) Fund your Acorns/Mint account with a payment from your linked bank account.

I do this every month, at the same time I’m paying my Apple Card balance. Apple Cash is one of the best features of using an Apple Card. I invest every penny so my money keeps working for me.

More specifically, add feedback at a feature request here, categorized under "Apple Card":

Here's what I wrote:

I track all of my finances using Quicken on my Mac and would like to use this with the Apple Card account I just created. Understanding this card is backed by Goldman Sachs, would I be able to setup an online login with GS and download transactions like a "normal" credit card? This helps me with overall financial planning being able to categorize my expenses, etc. Thank you!

Why is this such a big deal for everyone? If the Apple Card doesn’t meet your needs then don’t use it. There are many cards out there with better rates and better rewards and they will import into Mint. If I go to a donut shop that doesn’t sell chocolate donuts I find a store that does. I don’t demand that they start selling chocolate donuts because everyone else does. 🤷🏻‍♂️

That's exactly what I did,
