How to remove duplicates in Numbers - Mojave

Hello, I found a thread from years ago but I can not find anything recent. So if you can help, please do.

Within my database in Numbers I have duplicate email addresses in the same column.

Is there a simple way to remove them? Or find and mark them so i can remove them myself.

Hi walkern,

Insert an Index column

Formula in C1 (and fill down) =COUNTIF(B$1:B2,B)

Any Index greater than 1 is a duplicate (or triplicate...)

Copy the Index column (C) and Menu > Edit > Paste Formula Results.

Sort the table by column C

Delete rows where the Index is greater than 1.

Now you can delete the Index column.
