Why can’t I download any free apps?

Follow the steps provided in this support guide:--> If your payment method is declined in the App Store or iTunes Store - Apple Support

Apple is stricter now.

You need a valid credit card with your name on it, issued by your bank.

FYI: All updates and free apps are still free with a valid billing info.

Note: Some free apps do have subscriptions, In-App purchases.

If the free app contains in-app purchases you will need to provide billing info. You won't be charged anything when you download the base app.

I know but most debit cards are not accepted.

The text in red says it all. Your debit card was declined.

You need a valid credit card with your name on it, issued by your bank.

Until then, your issue stays.

Do you have any other payment methods? Like bank wire or PayPal? Any other credit cards? You can also use iTunes & App Store Gift Cards.
