Hiya! I bought a pair of AirPods as an alternative to my over-the-ear headphones during the hot summer months. Now that fall/winter are on their way, I plan to switch back to the over-the-ear option for the next few months. How should I maintain my AirPods' battery life during the 4-6 months I won't be using them regularly? Any tips?
When in the charging case, and not being charged, the AirPods shut down.
It may be beneficial to occasionally check the charge.

Thanks for the info! Any idea as to if I should maintain a half-charge for the entire period of time they're being stored? I ask since AirPods can't be powered down (to my knowledge), and the above says to power the device down to avoid additional battery use.
