my iPad Pro 2018 wont back up to iCloud. Ive tried everything. I even have brand new WiFi service with blazing speed. I don’t understand what the problem is. I just bought the device in august of this year and I’m having nothing but issues

Nothing happens. No error messages. The time just keeps increasing. I had it backing up since 6pm yesterday and I went to check on it today at 10am and the time was still increasing. Yesterday it was 30 min. Then jumped to 1 hour. Then jumped to 2 hours. Then 8 hours. Now the thing is reading 17 hours and hasn’t moved from the original spot
Restart the iPad and try again. Seems like it crashed in the update process.
What happens when you try?
Do you get any error messages?
Have you gone into Settings->Account(top of Settings)->iCloud->iCloud Backup->Backup now?
Did that too. Even did the reboot. Should I erase the iPad and start from scratch
