Are other members of your family sharing group able to play music?
If you're seeing a prompt to sign up for Apple Music yourself, I recommend double-checking the below, from the article titled Get an Apple Music Family subscription:
If you have issues with your Family subscription:
- Make sure that all members of the Family are sharing their iTunes Store purchases.
- Make sure that you're signed into the iTunes Store with the Apple ID and password that you use to share content with Family Sharing.
