Will Apple Watch still be supported on the iPhone 5s?

Hello,

I am looking to buy an Apple Watch and need to upgrade my iPhone at the same time, if I get an iPhone 6 or 5S, with the Watch app, will they still support the watch after iOS 13 is released? Or do I need an iPhone that will support the soon coming iOS 13?

AW 5 needs iPhone 6s or above.
