I just bought the Apple watch series 4 just to learn that it has been discontinued. what does this mean? do I return mine since it is no longer useful or can it still work like normal? what is different now that it is discontinued?

You can still use your AW 4. Nothing wrong with it. It will get an update to OS 6 later this month. The only think is you can’t buy a new one on Apple sites on stores.
