my current OS of my MACbook pro is OS X Yosemite version 10.10.5

how can I upgrade my OS to the latest in the APPSTORE ?

Back up your data, check your applications for compatibility, and depending on which Mac model you have, download El Capitan, High Sierra, or Mojave from the Mac App Store.
