Hi, seglaren28,

Thanks for stopping by the Apple Support Communities. I understand from your post that you are having trouble with Spotify on your Mac since updating Mojave. I'm happy to help!

Spotify is a third party service that you are able to access using a web browser, or an app for Mac. If the issue is occurring with the Spotify app, I'd recommend using the steps outlined in If an app won't run or install on your Mac after you upgrade macOS - Apple Support to start.

If you're having issues after that with the app, or the issue occurs with the Safari web browser, try quitting the app (whether it is Spotify or Safari) by pressing Command+Q or choose the App name > Quit app from the menu (example: Choose Spotify > Quit Spotify or Safari > Quit Safari). Then, restart your Mac: How to turn your Mac on or off - Apple Support.

If restarting does not solve the issue, see if it occurs in safe mode: Use safe mode to isolate issues with your Mac - Apple Support. Safe mode runs some checks during startup, so it may take a bit longer to boot than usual. If safe mode identifies an issue during that startup process, it will try to make repairs.

Should the issue continue in safe mode, though, try a new test user: How to test an issue in another user account on your Mac - Apple Support. This will help us determine if the issue is system wide, or if it's isolated to your own user account (where personal data and settings may be causing a conflict).

If the issue remains unresolved after this, please use Spotify's troubleshooting here: Troubleshooting - Spotify, then get in touch with Spotify directly for additional assistance: Contact us - Spotify.

Have a good day.
