I have had this issue for a while and cannot seem to find it anywhere else on the internet. There is a Vertical section on the right side of my screen on my 2015 Macbook Pro that always appears brighter than the rest. However, when I grab from the top right corner and bottom left corner and slight bend the monitor, it disappears and looks normal again. Is there anything I could do to fix this?
If twisting the display "fixes" or affects the issue, then it means the LCD panel has a broken or loose connection somewhere. It will require replacing the Display Assembly.

i actually discovered that the issue does not appear during the login screen, but as soon as the computer is unlocked it appears again. This makes me think it could be a software issue.
