I do not see any obvious issues.

When you ran Activity Monitor, did you change to Activity Monitor -> View -> All Processes ?

Chrome has, in the past, been a resource hog, but I think Google has improved their behavior.

Then again, each webpage tends to download Javascript that can be doing things to your system. There are even crypto mining apps written in Javascript. I'm not saying you have visited a website that has done this, I'm just saying sometimes a webpage can be the problem.

Your system is relatively young, and you only have 125 charge/discharge cycles on your battery (typical life is around 1,000).

You could try booting into Safe mode, and see if you have the same battery drain issues?

http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1564

This will not load any 3rd party additions, it will load some more conservative Apple drivers (may cause screen flicker), and it will clear some kernel caches (a cache is saved data in a form that can speed up a program, but is totally redundant to the original source, and thus can be safely cleared).  Booting into Safe mode is just an experiment, but can frequently eliminate any 3rd party interference, or a cached item out-of-sync with the world.  (Verify Safe mode via Applications -> Utilities -> System Information -> Software -> Boot Mode -> Safe vs Normal)

The lid being closed can be related to Power Naps, where the Mac can wake up to check email, and do Time Machine backups on a periodic basis.

System Preferences -> Energy Saver -> Enable Power Nap

You could try creating a new account and logging in with that account and seeing if that affects your battery drain.

You could make a Genius Bar appointment and have them look at your Mac.

You could try installing the Combo update over top of the existing install

And as a last resort, backup your system (2 backups using 2 different backup utilities going to 2 different backup devices is even safer 😀 ), then install macOS from scratch, and return your data from your backup(s). Like I said this is a desperate last ditch measure, and something that is rarely needed.
