Macbook Air after one inactivity - battery says Replace Now

I could not charge my Macbook Air for a month as had left my charger in office and then 'Lockdown' happened. Now the battery is not charging and shows 'Replace Now'. It was perfect earlier. I can work only with power connection now. The Macbook Air is about a year used, with Cycle count of 383.

Since then, on inactivity it goes into sleep mode and then i have to re-start the machine and then all programs need to be started again afresh. I tried changing the sleep mode time also, but that dose not help. It's not the regular sleep mode, where I could just start from where i left.

Try an SMC reset and a PRAM reset.

Lithium-ion batteries can be damaged if they are left in a discharged state for any length of time. You will need to have Apple or an Apple Authorized Service Provider replace the battery.
