macbook stop

My Macbook Pro 15'' very often enter sleep mode a few second after boot up, if it's not plugged to the power adapter.

The sequence is usually: power on the mac, enter my password, load the desktop. Without any advice, in a few seconds, the screen turn black. I need to plug the power adapter, press some key and wait the screen to come back to life. I can't say it's going to sleep mode rather than hybernate to tell the truth. Please note that this happens, as a rule of thumb, always when the battery is not fully charged, quite often when it's fully charged.

I already tried the "use the mac till it enter stop mode then recharge it completely", and also the SMC; PRAM and VRAM reset, with no luck.

Any idea?

Here is what battery health says about my battery - doesn't seem so bad:

Which MacBook Pro model and year?

Apple information on the battery cycle count, and maximum cycle counts for various Mac models.

But you're probably headed for a battery swap, based on what's being reported... This if both booting in Safe Mode and testing with a second and newly-created login show the same shutdown symptoms, as has been mentioned above.

Try setting up another admin user account to see if the same problem continues. Please post back on whether or not this worked. Also try the Safe Mode. Please post back on whether or not this worked.
