Since April 1 Apple Pay hasn't been working in my iPhone 7 plus

I have an iPhone 7 plus and since April I have not worked Apple Pay/

Apple Pay not working hi , I’m having trouble with Apple Pay not working, shows (Hold near reader) but doesn’t pay. Device is a regular Iphone 7 running ios 13.7 it was working just fine a week ago . the only two things changed before this is that I’ve changed the battery and added a new device to my icloud account. and i’ve tried a lot of solutions on the internet with no luck thank you for your help.

Are you using a passcode/Touch ID?
