printing address labels/same one

Have tried everything from using pages to just the contact Using Avery 8257..Issue is I want to print my address Only over and over on same page but it only prints one label. How do you get it to print the same label over and over on the sheet.. Have the Avery template on pages and contacts which came with Mac... ONLY WANT MY ADDRESS with a small picture.. Have tried everything and only come up with one label???

The ability to print a sheet your own address return labels is pretty bone-headed software design. First you create a new contact group (e.g. Return Labels), and then option+drag your contact item into that group. Next, with your name selected in that new group, you visit the edit menu and without leaving that menu repeat copy and then paste 32 additional times for the total count of labels on your Avery 8257 sheet.

Now, you have a new group with 33 duplicates of your contact info. Select all of these items, and then visit the print panel, and you will see the entire 8257 sheet is populated — not just a single item.

Re-read my instructions more closely. I tested this on macOS Mojave 10.14.6 (18G95), and it worked for me to fully populate that Avery 8257 sheet in the Contacts application print panel. The trick after you copy/paste your address into a new Contact group is to just keep using copy/paste from the Edit menu, and then select all 33 items and then print.

If you want to do this in Pages v8.1, Avery provides a Pages compatible blank template (8257) that you can download, but you will have to manually populate this with your custom address via copy/paste in Pages — without any benefit from the Contacts application as Pages v8.1 has no built-in Mail and Data merge capability.

There is a third-party application written by a former Apple employee that adds Mail and Data merge capability to Pages v8.1 via either spreadsheet or contacts application. It is only supported by its author.

Well Cannot get it to repeat. I see my one label but cannot add more. You would think it would be much easier if they had options in editing to just repeat.. I did try the Avery design sight but then printout off. Still working on that under printer adjustments.. Since there are no options for what kind of printer paper to use meaning the setting for the labels what would you use. Matte? Glssy? Using epson EX 6000 printer.. Nothing about card stock and want pictures to look good..Did this a long time ago and had no problem on older computer..Seems Avery favors Microsoft!
