iPhone SE not connecting to PC

I am not sure if this is an Apple issue or a Windows issue or a combination of both. I have not been able to connect my phone to my computer for a few months. I have been able to for the past few years, so this is really strange. I am running the latest version of iOS and iTunes. I tried to reinstall iTunes on my computer, and now I no longer have the Apple Mobile Device Support folder in my C Program Files. A co-worker was able to connect with an iPhone 6. Does this mean it is some sort of hardware issue on my phone? I have tried everything and am really frustrated. I am not wanting to do a factory reset of my phone. If you have any insight, that would be wonderful.

Thanks!

To uninstall / reinstall iTunes, please take a look at this guide:—> Remove and reinstall iTunes and related software components for Windows 7 and later - Apple Support

I was not talking about MACs, just Windows PCs with latest iTunes version installed. But, in your last reply, you said: My SE won’t connect to any PC. I’m assuming you’ve already tried that to no avail.

That’s why I suggest that you ask for help (making an appointment in advance) at an Apple Store os Authorized Service Provider. I think that they could really help you. Or, contact Apple Support directly.

After your attempts, please keep me informed.

KKocen, that's really weird. You should have that folder (Drivers), which should contain usbaapl64. cat, .inf, .sys and usbaaplrc.dll. (depending on Windows Version).

Have you already try to connect your SE to a different PC ? (perhaps borrowing one from your friends, or going to an Apple Store or AASP, just to see if it's a problem of your PC configuration).

If you still get no help, I would try and contact Apple Support and see if they can help you:--> https://support.apple.com/contact

I've tried everything from there of what actually shows up on my computer. As stated, the folder %ProgramFiles%\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\Drivers is missing, and nothing shows up in the device manager as Apple Mobile Device USB Driver, Unknown Device or anything else. I do not have an error, my phone just doesn't show up anywhere. My phone will charge when connected, but that is it.

It is very strange that the driver folder is not included in the install. I am going to try to uninstall and reinstall one more time. Do you have any clue if there is somewhere else I could download that specific folder from? I might see if I can find the download for the previous version of itunes. I think that was the last time my phone was able to connect. My SE will not connect to any PC. I'm not sure about Apple computers. I'm trying to avoid having to go to the Genius bar because I'm sure they will try to get me to buy new everything (yeah right!) and not really solve anything.

Apple has basically had nothing new to offer. I think the problem might be in missing driver information. There is no drivers folder in C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support. Are you aware of any way to manually install the missing information? I had attempted to bring the folder from the 32-bit program files folder, but that didn't work.
