Keyboard issue

My Keyboard stopped working yesterday . Only the power button worked. This morning after disabling the FileVault and using the Control+option+ P+ R method it worked. But I still have to do that Control+Option+P+R each time I restart . Any ideas please. Keyboard working fine atm but when I shutdown I will have to use those commands again. Thanks
