I just recently bought an Apple TV gen 4 I believe. I’ve used my phone for the remote a few times. Just curious is why the icon on my pull down menu is blinking. The symbol is of the tv which is on my music player. Just want to know how to make it stop
The icon is the symbol for AirPlay. In the Control Center playback card, that corner acts like a button to make a selection for AirPlay destination, e.g. output to the phone itself, or to the Apple TV, for supported content and apps.
It would blink if an external output is selected, but nothing is playing. It would stop blinking if you select the iPhone as destination.
