I receive the error “404 Error - File or Directory Not Found” when trying to open a particular website on my iPad; however, this does not occur on my PC. *The webpage should launch videos for an online course.

Try double clicking the Home button or swipe up from the bottom of the screen and swipe Safari upwards. Go to Settings/Safari and clear History and Website Data. Open Safari and test.

In Settings/Safari/General, if you turn off Block Pop-ups, does that help? Also try turning off Prevent Cross-Site Tracking.
Do you have access to another device where you can try to access the web site? The site may not be device compatible.
Unfortunately that did not help.
Additional info: Just before it opens the page w the 404 error it asks “the site is attempting to open a pop-up window”. I selected “Allow”.
I also tried using “Chrome”, but received the same error.
