My iPhone X could no longer connect to any cellular network in Australia and stuck with SOS only. I am using a SIM from Malaysia. Just last week, I had no problem with its connection for voice roaming back to Malaysia. Appreciate if anyone could help me on this.

It is not that old (2-3 years) and I had just used it last week for voice roaming. I tried on a different mobile phone and the message "cannot be registered to network" appeared. Looks like I need to go back to the carrier ! Anyway, thanks a lot !
The SIM card might have failed. Have you tested other SIM cards in your iPhone?
Yes, thanks. It works on local Australian amaysim SIM. How could the Malaysian SIM card failed ? Is there any way to restore it ?
How old is the SIM card?
I do not know why, but if it's old it could happen.
You have to replace it at your carrier.
