So what I had to do is re-buy one song as an experiment, and when the song started downloading after I agreed to pay, a pop-up box came up and said that I had already purchased it and would I like to download it. And so I said OK and that is how I managed to get the rest of the songs. It was sort of a leap of faith to offer to double pay, but because the status of the songs did say purchased, I knew the system had processed my payment already and probably would not double charge me . This was definitely a new backdoor way to download an album, but it actually worked out.
