Hi guys,
Is there a way to download an album version of a track if I've purchased a stand alone version?
It shows as purchased in the album as well, but I can't download it.
The versions sound different, despite what Itunes thinks

I tried but it didn't help. The track stayed grayed out.
However, I contacted support and they were able to help me.
In future, it's best to buy the album first and then buy the single if it's a part of it. If you do it the other way, you might not be able to get the album version.
Thanks to Apple support though, they've always been super helpful and resolved any issues I've had, including this one!

Welcome to the Apple Support Community! We understand you have downloaded a song single and because of this you cannot download the album version. We're happy to help! We'd recommend deleting the original stand alone version, and seeing if it will let you download the album version afterwards.
