iCloud apple ID changes

I recently changed my log in email for my apple ID. Everything works great - no issues. However, when I now try to log into my iCloud account on my MacBook Pro laptop it is still using my OLD email address and I can't log into my apple accounts on the laptop. Any suggestions to change this to the mew email address and password would be appreciated. Thank you

Changed Apple ID email, new email not showing on Mac so can’t log in I changed my Apple ID email address. Now my MacBook keeps asking me to enter my password to continue using iCloud, but it’s showing my old email address so its saying that my details are incorrect. It doesn’t let me type in my new email address. If I select to log out it brings up a message saying things will be deleted so I don’t want to so this. It feels glitchy so I’m worried I’ll lose my stuff. How do I log in to my iCloud account on my laptop without deleting anything?

Apple ID change Hi, Ive recently changed the email address for my apple ID. I did this on my iPhone and have had no issues. However, on my iMac desktop, iCloud is asking me to sign in with my old Apple ID email address. What do I do? I have tried pressing sign out but it comes up with new password and something about having to remember both passwords? Any help would be much appreciated.

Can you log out of the old ID?
