what should i do about my mac freezing and not being Abel to move mouse or even do anything at all only way to continue is to turn mac off and back on to use it again its and iMac late 2015 4k retina

What tasks/programs are you doing with this happens?
How long does the computer work between freezes?

Solved. So I had the same problem, screen freezing, sometimes curser moves, happens after a few minutes, I couldn’t install most recent update, I tried freeing up disk space, starting up on Safe Mode, aimlessly looked at the Log Files, then I found somewhere on this site where they suggested the following steps:
System Preferences->Icloud->Manage->Icloud Photos—>Disable and Delete
I restarted computer, solved. Dowloaded the most recent update. Now I am going to Undo the Icloud Photo “Disable and Delete” to see if I can replicate and solve the problem again.
I will report back.
If this works for anyone please reply amd let us know.
imac 2015 4K Retina running slow and Freezing?
I have , not,an, 2015,but 2017 iMac,and when it get some sluggish,i Reinstall the Mac OS from my Time Machine Copy,
or from the App Store?
