DRM protected songs

Some of my old songs I bought more than 10 years ago have DRM protection. Are there any ways to convert them to non-DRM format?

Anyone have a way to get these songs coded without the DRM protection? Some have mentioned an apple service but I am not sure if the songs revert back to the old satus once the subscription ends.

I don't have many songs to convert. Doesn't worth the trouble to convert them.
