Belkin cable overheating using Hubi solar power.

I power my iPad Air from a Hubi solar hub which is 12 V. Apples recommend Belkin charger and cable for a car will accommodate equivalent 12V . I find the Belkin cable overheated at the IPad end.

so I swapped the cable for an OATO cable, which cured the problem. So I suggest exchange the cable for your favourite choice. Then all works fine.

When connecting the hub to the iPad, I get a "Not charging" icon next to the battery. Wireless car charging. I have a 2023 Hyundai Elantra and it has a charging pad to charge your drive wirelessly. It never seems to work properly. With a case, with a case, with a MagSafe case, without a MagSafe case, etc. It makes connection for a couple of seconds and then turns off. It does this constantly giving you no charge and making the phone hot. Is there any solution to this?

USB C 20W power brick charges all devices except iPad Hello! Has anyone else experienced the same issue where a power brick won’t charge a devices but works fine for other devices? I’m using a new Belkin BOOST↑Charge Pro Flex cable for my iPad. I have tried charging the iPad using the new cable and a new power brick and it works, I just can’t understand why it won’t work for my older power brick.

So you assume that all the Belkin 12V cables are doing this and that you couldn’t possibly have gotten a defective one? That’s quite a jump in logic there.
