Trade in rules?

i wanna ask if trade in is possible for iphone xs max thats perfect condition not a scratch and not even 8 months old but water damaged and doesnt turn on for an iphone 11 pro max in Los Angeles and how much will it cost (average)

Is my phone eligible for trade-in? I was just wondering if my phone would still be eligible for trade in. The phone is in completely good shape, everything works fine, there are no cracks nor scratches on either side. The only problem is that my phone starts freezing and sometimes does things on its own. Will I still be able to get money off for a trade in?

A water damaged iPhone whatever model has no trade-in value.
