This seems to be a recent issue that has popped up. I can't resize the Preferences pane in Apple Mail. I am on Mojave 10.14.6. I have read posts by others about their Preferences window becoming to wide but in my case I can;'t seem resize the window at all. Anyone else have this issue?
To be honest, I don't remember if it was resizable before Mojave or if so, when. It's not something I've tried to do in previous versions. Someone else may remember. In any case it's not resizable in Mojave.

Thank you. Is this recent behavior? It seems to me that I have been able to resize the Preferences window especially because when trying to add a new signature the signature composition window is quite narrow.

The Mail preference window is not resizable.
FWIW, that only applies if the Mail preference window is too wide.
