Complete garbage approach on part of Apple to still not support the pencil on their phones. I equate this to the decade they spent telling artists their pc’s and laptops were for artists, yet didn’t make a true color monitor.

The iPad Pro will be able to use Adobe software soon as Adobe has decided to support it. You can use your favorite search engine for more information. I fail to see how it is Apple's fault that another company didn't release programs that support the device.

I know very few creatives that use their iPhones to sketch. I doubt Apple has a massive amount of feedback requesting this but that said it would be nice to use the pencil with the iPhone but it will require a different type of screen than what they currently use (iPads aren't OLED). You can tell Apple you would like this feature here: Feedback - iPhone - Apple

Sorry Raymond but neither Adobe nor the Apple Pencil are the definition of what Pro means. The iMac Pro and Mac Pro don't use the pencil either. Are they not pro devices? The bottom line is that Apple decides what to name their products. Then they tell you in the most explicit detail which features they have and you can search the app store to find out which apps they run. It is then up to you to decide if that meets your needs before you buy them. Finally, anyone who has followed Apple for any amount of time knows that they tend to use the word Pro to mean the top product in a given category. The iPhone is just the most recent to enter this use case.

No you can’t use Apple Pencil with the iPhone. The big question I have is why? It’s an Apple accessory that we have to pay $120 for , so why can’t we just use it with our iPad and phone?

When I’m using my iPad I often have it in my hand and then when I get a notification on my phone I don’t want to put it down and use my hands like a dirty ape 🦍 . So Apple 🍎 please add pencil support to the phone !

I feel that I would enjoy using the pencil with my iPhone as well. In fact, I've tried to use it with my iPad but I don't really care for it because of the size of the iPad and holding it with one hand while using the pencil. I think I might actually enjoy it more with my phone. However, I am sure that Apple looks at this from a cost/benefit perspective. I think a small percentage of iPhone buyers would be interested in the pencil. The iPhone is their biggest seller by an order of magnitude. They would have to add the hardware to each device regardless of whether someone would need it. This would add cost and I think more importantly it would take up space that would not be able to be used for battery. I think more people want battery life than the pencil.

Fingers crossed that we will eventually see it. Perhaps it will be an improvement to the screen technology. For example, it is rumored that the next phones will have screens where the touch layer is built right into the screen, thus saving a tiny amount of volume. Something similar could be what finally allows them to add pencil support.

More easly to use apple iphone 11 max with a apple pencil1/2 (preferred magnetic with battery charching) to work with a drawing app program. Can even work on a bigger TV screen if preferred. Use the iphone 11 max as a tablet drawing board ?. Yes the need for a Ipad ver. with bigger screen is to be the best model. But on travelling and draw a nature to create a imige picture and as a notate block is preferred. Look at the samsung galixy mobile big model with pencil as a notebook. can then also take advantage to further use og office 365 home /business license for more business plesure. WHEN will iphone 11 work with a version of apple pencil and use as notebook /drawing tool ? regards kjell
