Go Daddy Secure Certificate Authority - G2

For some reason I've been getting Go Daddy Secure Certificate Authority - G2. I have no idea where this came from or how to get rid of it. I don't want to put in my password to continue since I have no idea if it's a phishing scam or what. It's affecting my browsing experience and blocking site I know I'v been to before. Any help to eliminate this nasty nuisance would be greatly appreciated. I am running El Capitan 10.11.6 on a Mac Pro (Early 2009).

That user and password dialog when accessing a web page usually means there’s a problem on the target web server.

If you don’t want that cert, back up your system entirely, then use Keychain Access to delete the cert.

Or mark the cert as trusted.
